Today, the Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau and Goodman Media have issued an updated press release indicating that a live satellite feed from Sun Studio will indeed be available for radio sations to have access to for the 'Global Moment in Time' on July 5th.

At Sun Studio the recording will be played and sent out via satellite. The legendary Scotty Moore, lead guitarist on that recording, will be the one to "press play" for this historic occasion.

Any radio stations that cannot access the live feed are still encouraged to join in by playing the record at 12:00 noon ET on July 5th. So mail your local station with this information.

Memphis is leading the nation in a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Rock 'n' Roll and will host a Global Moment in Time" on July 5, 2004 - 50 years to the day when Elvis recorded "That's All Right" at Sun Studio in Memphis. This recording became a pivotal moment in rock history and is considered "the big bang" in the dawn of the rock 'n' roll era.

On July 5th at 12 noon (ET), radio stations across the world are encouraged to simultaneously play "That's All Right." This will hopefully mark the largest playing of a single song at the same moment in history.

We encourage you to call your local radio stations to get them on board to commemorate this musical milestone and to help us mark 50 Years of Rock 'n' Roll. Stations or radio personnel seeking additional information can contact Goodman Media at (212) 576-2700, extension 239.

It's very likely that there will be a LIVE satellite feed directly from Sun Studio that will be available to radio stations that morning. Thus, stations are invited to carry the playing of "That's All Right" emanating directly from Sun.

Elvis Presley Video Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD

Never before have we seen an Elvis Presley concert from the 1950's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. + Plus Bonus DVD Audio.

This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
